Your model can do anything. Your users need it to do the right thing.

Selected work
CompleteiQ claim workspace — AI coverage determination grounded in policy, transcript, field photo, and weather, pending adjuster approval.
CompleteiQInsurance claims automation

Every dollar the model decides is grounded in the policy, the transcript, the photo, the weather. The adjuster approves — or doesn’t.

Designed end to end. The company raised a multi-million seed and landed its first enterprise customer.

Rovey concierge, first pass — 142 voyages match, before any narrowing question. Rovey concierge, narrowed to 38 voyages after the traveler’s constraints are applied. Rovey concierge, final three recommendations, each with a grounded reason.
RoveyVirgin Voyages

Every question narrows the field. It ends at three — never thirty — and each one says why.

Designed the conversation and the interface. Virgin funded the next phase; the MVP was demoed at Google Cloud Next.

AdCake report — the model shows six of thirty-eight metrics, with a visible thread connecting the condensed number to the full 44-row dataset beneath it.
AdCakeDatacakes

The model shows six of thirty-eight metrics and hides nothing. Pull the thread — all forty-four rows are underneath, and the totals reconcile.

Designed 0→1 in three months. Live since January 2026; the first three clients in the company’s history shipped on it.

The CompleteiQ founder came back in March to build a second product — a patented voice assistant for field adjusters, now in real inspectors’ hands. Nobody hires the same designer twice by accident.

About

Sean Riegel. Twenty years of design, one desk.

Sean Riegel

I work with technical founders building AI products there’s no reference for — where the model’s output changes what the screen should be and there’s no competitor to copy. Insurance adjudication, conversational booking, analytics where the model decides. That’s the only kind of work I take.

Twenty years across every platform shift since print — mobile-first, responsive, now AI-native. I built soor.studio to be the partner I wanted when I was leading product teams: one senior designer, no layers, working at your pace.

I don’t take more than four retainers at a time. Last year I turned down a follow-up with a client I’d shipped six projects for, because I was full.

Two retainer slots open. Next start: August 10.
