Objective

0-to-1 development of an ambient AI concierge to navigate the high-friction Discovery-to-Booking lifecycle for a world-leading cruise provider.

Booking a luxury cruise is a massive cognitive undertaking involving thousands of variables: cabin grades, port excursions, seasonal itineraries, and onboard amenities. For a premier global brand, a cluttered, traditional booking engine is a brand tax — it creates friction that contradicts the luxury promise. Furthermore, the primary demographic skewed toward older, non-technical users. The challenge was to deliver a state-of-the-art AI agent that felt helpful, not haunting, and sophisticated, not complex.

Pillar: Agentic Flows

We rejected the Infinite Search Results model. Instead, we designed an Intent-Based Concierge embedded directly into the brand's digital fabric. The agent's primary objective is to distill the entire global fleet into exactly three tailored options. By identifying specific vibes — Relaxed and Beachy, Cultural Immersion, Adventure Forward — through natural conversation, the agent proactively highlights onboard experiences and excursions that match the voyager's specific psychology.

Pillar: Inclusive Interaction

Knowing the demographic's preference for clarity, we pioneered a Hybrid-Prompting system. While the agent is fully voice-enabled and chat-capable, we integrated Contextual CTA Pills — conversational guardrails that offer the user quick, correct decisions based on the agent's current understanding of their intent. This reduces blank-box anxiety and ensures the voyager always knows the next step.

Pillar: Interactive Rich Media

We moved beyond static galleries. The brand's high-quality cinematography was transformed into Conversational Assets. Users interact with media directly within the concierge interface — if the agent mentions a Sunset Balcony, the user can immediately engage with rich, 360-degree media of that specific view without leaving the flow.

We developed a system that tracks a voyager's intent seamlessly, whether they are logged in or exploring anonymously. The result was a high-fidelity, high-stakes MVP that was not only approved for production but was awarded a Keynote Demo slot at one of the year's most prestigious tech conferences. Following deployment, soor.studio is currently architecting the Onboard Extension — moving the concierge from the browser to the stateroom and mobile device to assist with real-time dining and port requests.

The Sovereign Concierge has redefined the luxury booking standard. By shifting from filtering to conversation, we eliminated the primary point of drop-off in the booking funnel. The system provides a White Glove digital experience that matches the physical luxury of the onboard service.
